Coventry Motor Museum Open evening

Once a year friends of the Coventry Motor Museum are invited to come along  on their old Motor Cycles for an informal get together 'after hours' in the Museums back yard. But this year because of building work we were invited to meet up at the Museums Stores. And because of the favourable weather, no sooner had the gates been slid open that riders and machines started pouring into the yard.  And  one of the first on the scene was this wonderful WD Harley Davidson.

Dave Macs Rudge Ulster, Dave is a long time friend of the Motor Museum and organiser of tonight's event.

Living in and around the Midlands so close to the original Meriden works Triumph twins and triples will always be popular, members of the Triumph owners club always give good support such events.

All Aboard!  And to think before I bought my first Motor Cycle this was my main form of transport.

The Streets of Stratford on Avon

Normally I would avoid the streets of Stratford on Avon like the plague  during the Bank Holidays because the Town can often get grid locked with holiday traffic.  However members of the VMCC and Triumph owners club were invited to display machines along the closed roads for the duration of the Stratford Festival of Motoring. In the foreground you can see our Organiser David Payne's beautiful model H Triumph that has only been back on the road a few days.
