Its quite simple really! TT allows me to remember ' Third Thurs ' in the month is Classic Car and Bike night at the Norman Knight Pub at Wichford in the Cotswolds. Riders and Classic car owners park on the village green if the Car Park is full. I arrived fairly early on in the evening complete with a portable Tea of Cheese and Tomatoes sandwiches, crisps and washed down with a Pint. While Siting on the Green allowed me a full view of all the arriving bikes and cars. A really lovely summers night that finished with a ride home following my friend Simon on his Triumph through pretty villages and twisting lanes, arriving home just in time to watch England get kicked out of the World Cup....Oh Well!
If it smells of oil or Petrol ...its in the shed.

The Banbury Run 2014
Just got back from this years Banbury Run, which was as ever great fun and well organised...well done the VMCC for doing an excellent job! I did the social untimed route that gives riders a chance to take their time and stop where they fancy. In this case I decided to have a rest in a Cotswold Village at the 'Blinking Owl' Pub, a great opportunity to take photos and watch machines go by have a drink and eat a snack. Here is the 'Old Girl' at rest with this years fashion accessory an old wooden box I picked up at a Steam Fair...Perfect for some tools, oily rag, and a old Whiskey bottle containing 40 grade oil.
