A Trip to the Sammy Miller Museum

1954 BSA MC1 250cc racer designed by Doug Hele that was hoped would eventually  lead to a future production machine. A single Cylinder engine with twin overhead camshafts and four radially arranged valves. This machine is complete with  Earles forks and cantilever suspension and was apparently  showing great promise during the course of its development, however in 1955 the BSA  Board of Directors pulled the plug on the project. This Unique machine was eventually rescued and restored for the Museum.
