2013 VMCC Banbury Run
The Sunday morning of the Banbury Run saw me out of bed by 6.00, with enough time to wash and brush, drink some Tea and feed the Cat. I don't own a trailer or van ( maybe one day ) so I wanted to be on the road for 7.00 to give me a leisurely Sunday morning ride to the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon for the start of the 65th Banbury Run. This year I had chosen to ride the C route, a ride of some 57 miles passing through some very pretty picture post card villages such as Arlescote, Croperdy, Shutford, St Dennis and not forgetting a successful ride up Sunrising Hill.
2013 VMCC Banbury Run
"A little scruffy and noisy but great fun. Also applies to the bike", Andrew Middleton's comments in the official program for his wonderful Blackburn engine Cotton...he refers to as the Mongrel.
The Program is always a good source of humorous anecdotes, but this machine was my particular favourite of the weekend.

The Kenilworth Run
We meet at 10.00 for a 10.30 ride off in the Hatton Lay by just out side the town of Warwick, and one of the nice things about meeting after the winter lay off is who will turn up on what! And just look at this Beauty waiting in the dappled sunshine for the start of our 2013 Kenilworth run.
The Kenilworth Run
At first glance it would be easy to mistake it for a BSA A10, but no its a
completely restored, live and kicking 650 Kawasaki twin.
The Kenilworth Run
After a very pleasant Sunday morning run the riders retire to the beer garden
of the Pub, meanwhile the bikes just rest in the Spring sunshine and draw
admiring glances, and this very nice Ariel was no exception.
