I spotted this wrecked wrecker outside a rural service station , it was very recently unearthed ( dragged ) out of a a hedge behind the service station . It is thought to be a ' Guy Quad ' and has given many years of good service, although the cab could well be from an Austin. Because of the close proximity of the hot exhaust pipe to the floor of the cab , the wooden floor boards would often start to smoke and smolder when being driven on a long run .
