This was another very popular small car of its time , and in its heyday DAF produced nearly one hundred thousand cars per year , nowadays the DAF transmission business is flourishing with their patented continuous variable transmissions business.The same basic form of transmission that is used on many modern automatics including the Toyota Prius.
