Dragged through a hedge backwards !

I spotted this wrecked wrecker outside a rural service station , it was very  recently unearthed ( dragged ) out of a  a hedge  behind the service station . It is thought to be a ' Guy Quad ' and has given many years of good service, although the cab  could well be  from  an Austin. Because of the close proximity of the hot exhaust pipe to the floor of the cab ,   the wooden floor boards would  often start to smoke and smolder when  being driven on a long  run . My thanks to Mr Walsgrave for allowing me to take these Photos.

Treasure at Stafford.

I had taken these images a few years ago at the International Classic Bike Show at Stafford , these snaps were  taken in the outside Auto Jumble area...which is sometimes more interesting and photogenic  than the stuff indoors.  I think Vintage packaging and Graphic design is just as nice and collectable as the bikes themselves.

Well used AJS Big Port Single Vintage Motor Cycle.

While at Stafford i spotted this machine for sale in the outside Auto jumble area and thought it was the best looking vintage machine around, complete with its faded paint and general well lived in patina .  This is the very desirable AJS Big Port single .
