Sunday morning at around 8.30 on the 14th of August saw me kicking my old AJS into life ( first kick ) she had been pampered before the event with some 2011 air in the tyres , some Oil in one hole and Petrol in the other . And before long the ' the old girl ' was dok dok doking ( that's the exhaust note ) through Bagington village , over Kamikaze Traffic island through Willenhall and eventually pulling into the Coombe Abbey country park to take part in the 56th Coventry Parade .
The Coventry Parade is the 'Premier event ' of the Warwickshire Section of the VMCC, and this year was brilliantly organised by Mr Geoffrey Booth and Mr Robert Thomas esq and their team.
